About Savannah West
Savannah West is an attorney, strategist, and founder of SJ Strategies. Raised on the South Side of Chicago, she attended Saint Ignatius College Prep and earned her B.A. from Amherst College before receiving her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
She is a Fulbright Fellow and recipient of the BWLA Black Women Lawyers’ Association Scholarship.
Savannah began her career advising leading investment firms and global organizations on complex legal and strategic matters. Through that work, she developed a deep understanding of how selective systems operate—and how individuals can navigate them thoughtfully and effectively.
At SJ Strategies, Savannah applies that same precision to professional development and mentorship. Her work focuses on helping clients clarify their goals, assess options honestly, and make informed decisions at pivotal academic and career moments.
